Drawings

The drawings presented below were carried out during the early years of Sylvie Chadourne's artist career, from 1990 to 1998. The artist explored a wide range of dry mediums such as graphite, sanguine, sepia, charcoal, carbon pencil (charcoal mixed with oil) rendering different types of textures and color hues. The visual style of her drawings were at the time largely influenced by the surrealism movement, and many compositions are the result of mental associations that occurred in a dreamy state of mind.

The three first drawings presented here are for sale. The artist only uses professional material for her artworks to guarantee their longevity. Each one is sold with its Certificate of Authencity.
